Today is the one-year anniversary of moving abroad. First stop: Bangkok, Thailand. Giving up the “American Dream” and becoming an expat in a foreign land turned out even better than my wildest dreams. Thailand is a beautiful country with a rich culture and history, and there is always something new to discover. The food is delicious, the people are friendly, and the weather is great.
Although this is just the beginning of this expat life I couldn’t be happier with the choice to move to Thailand. It has easily become one of my favorite places in the entire world. The countless adventures and stories will last me a lifetime.
