2018: A Year Worth Reviewing! It was an amazing year for The Wards. In this post we share our greatest accomplishments and milestones from our DNA results to our NYE in Germany. Come Check it out!

2018 is officially over…

So Happy New Year Wardiacks!!! Mr. Ward calls his students that so I thought it could apply to those of you who follow the site too.

2018 was an amazing year for both of us together and individually. Unfortunately, I really don’t share as much as I should on this site so you may not know exactly what went on.

This year we

  • Got our DNA results.

    • Turns out we’re both… drumroll, please… Black (who would have guessed? lol) and a bunch of other white stuff and Alejandro even had Spanish. Shocker, I know haha
  • Traveled to 16 different countries 

    • 10 of them for the 1st time
  • Moved to our 3rd country outside of the USA

  • Victoria saw her parents 6 times in 6 different countries⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

    •  Kuwait, Turkey, Peru, USA, Haiti, and Egypt
  • Alejandro completed an epic adventure

  • Alejandro went on a cruise with his parents and cousin Steven

    • They traveled to Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. Alejandro and Family on a Cruise To Jamaica and Cayman Islands
  • Crossed 7 things off our bucketlist 

    • Visit the smallest country in the world, Explore Machu Picchu, Stand on the Equator, Visit The Vatican Museums and Stand in the Sistine Chapel, Be in two places at once, Eat Pasta In Italy, Live in 3 different Countries, visit 30 countries before turning 30

       

  • Paid for Victoria’s Dad to go on a vacation for Fathers DayClimb Machu Picchu | Aguas Caliente, Peru | Bucketlist

  • Visited 3 of the 7 Wonders Of The World

    • Machu Picchu, The Great Pyramids of Giza (YES, we count them), and The Roman Colosseum
  • Victoria threw Alejandro a surprise 30th birthday party. And he was actually surprised.Alejandros 30th Birthday Prty⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

  • Spent some much-needed time with Family and Friends

  • Alejandro went to a Bachelor Party in Colombia and was a groomsman in one of his best friend’s wedding

  • We started working at a new school First Day of School Victoria and Alejandro

  • Alejandro had surgery to repair his ACL, MCL, and Meniscus

  • Victoria climbed to the top of a mountain on the Sinai Peninsula

    • She almost met Jesus trying to find where Moses got the 10 Commandments Victoria on top of Moses Mountain in Mount Sinai, Egypt⁣⁣
  • Took this blog Meet The Wards a little more seriously

  • Hosted Thanksgiving at our new house The Wards Host Thanksgiving at their New House In Cairo, Egypt | November 2018

  • Celebrated our 4th year being married Alejandro and Victoria celebrate their 4 year anniversary of being married

  • Took Victoria’s Mom to Prom because she never got to go

  • Brought in the New Year with a BANG, literally.

    • We celebrated in Berlin, Germany at the Largest New Year’s Eve Party in Europe called SilvesterBringing in The New Years in Berlin Germany | Silvester Berlin 2018/2019

2018 was surely good to us. Maybe the best one yet and I’ve probably said that it has been the best year ever for the last 5 years but that’s kind of the point isn’t it? Presently happy with the way life is treating us and I hope it continues on this path. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
